Author's Note: While researching drought-ridden sub-Saharan Africa to create a realistic landscape for STEALING DEATH, I learned more than one billion people in the world do not have access to clean water. Stealing Death Water for Life Challenge became a key part of our 2009 book-launch, raising funds for clean drinking water, and awareness of the global water crisis.
